Title: Methods & Devices Used to Create Cannabis Concentrates

Cannabis concentrate products have overtaken sales of flower in several states, and new concentrate products are being introduced almost daily.  Andy’s webinar will cover current methods that are being used to extract oil from cannabis plant material and how those extracts are being used in many of the popular cannabis concentrate products.  Secondary processing methods such as dewatering, winterization and distillation will also be discussed.  

Our presenter, Andy Joseph is the President of Apeks Supercritical, a Johnstown, Ohio based manufacturer of fully automated subcritical and supercritical carbon dioxide (CO2) botanical oil extraction systems. Apeks has been designing and manufacturing botanical oil extraction equipment since 2001 and introduced patented Valveless Expansion Technology in 2012. Apeks has more than 400 CO2 extraction systems installed in 20+ states across the US and internationally. Andy is a US Navy veteran and earned his BS and MS degrees in Welding Engineering from the Ohio State University.
